.d. norman. there's -- j.d. norman has taken an ad out in the local indianapolis newspaper called "the indianapolis star" and here it is this morning. full page ad pleading with the members of the local 23 to have a vote on this issue. this is 650 jobs that we'd like to keep in indiana as the national union representative knows and indicates in the paper this morning, these individuals were will be being paid at the market wage rate. >> sure. j.d. norman said effectively you can work for us at this particular rate which is $15.50 an hour. mitch, tell us, $15.50 an hour, is that on par? it's half of what the g.m. workers are making right now. is it on par with what other automakers in indiana are making? >> well, we have toyota plants, subaru facility and a honda plant here in indiana and it's above the starting wage rate at those facilities. and at the starting wage rate for what new g.m. workers would be paid when they're hired into the new g.m. in addition to this, the g.m. workers would be allowed to move to other facilities across the -- other g.m. facilities across the country o
